Capio Sequestration develops carbon capture and sequestration assets for both Fidelis and non-Fidelis partners throughout North America and Europe. The firm utilizes proven bankable technologies with referenceable operational histories to address the climate crisis by mitigating the emissions products by chemical production, petroleum refining, and all other industrial producers of greenhouse gas emissions. The initial CCS assets are being developed in the industrial corridor between Baton Rouge and New Orleans along the Mississippi River. Capio draws its competitive advantage through its involvement in the Grön Ecosystem, from which is it expected to sequester significant volumes of biogenic CO2 from the Grön Fuels Renewable Diesel Facility, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Capio further seeks to generate mutual value for such hosts through 45Q tax credits, LCFS credits, and other environmental economic attributes generated by the capture, sequestration, and beneficial use of CO2.
