Bryan S. Ferguson has over 30 years of experience in the energy, environmental, transportation, and finance industry including holding several senior executive positions. His firm BSC Group advised the energy industry in matters involving logistics, distribution strategy, feedstock and off-take, terminalling, transportation, project development, design, construction, operations, and finance in both fossil fuels and renewable fuels. Other executive roles have included President of Empire Energy Corporation, a publicly traded oil & gas exploration and production company. His responsibilities included: overall corporate and financial management, evaluation, strategy and structure of corporate funding and acquisition operations, exploration and production leases, drilling, completion and off-take arrangements, SEC reporting, marketing, IR/PR, international operations (Nicaragua, Ghana), Forex, ExIm, asset management, political and public authority interface in various countries in Europe, Africa, Australia, and Central America.
Mr. Ferguson was also a Principal of Shaw Capital, Inc. the investment arm of The Shaw Group, Inc, a NYSE publicly traded Fortune 500 company where he worked with Shapiro, Jarlsjo, and Boulmay. While at Shaw Capital, he provided investment fund marketing, capital structure, origination, and development of investment transactions. Target markets included domestic, international, commercial, and US government opportunities as well as efforts on projects in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bolivia, India, and UK. Mr. Ferguson also supported state and federal political efforts for the company as Vice President of Government Affairs in Washington DC, providing advocacy, strategy, cabinet level branding and business development where he provided interface with agencies including: Department of State (international matters) Department of Energy (domestic and international matters), Department of Transportation (infrastructure matters), U.S. Agency for International Development and White House (policy).
Mr. Ferguson was also Vice President of The Andersons, Inc. providing midstream energy logistics transloading, renewable fuels feedstock and off-take advisory, asset diversification and repurposing, and project development.
Mr. Ferguson graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology where he was a four-year letterman as quarterback of the football team. He and his wife Elaine have two sons and he enjoys golf, music and the culinary arts.
